On Friday, November 28, we gave a seminar on “Wind Farm Projects” at the School of Mining and Energy Engineering at the University of Vigo. The seminar was attended by fourth-year mining and energy engineering students who are in the final phase of their training.
We hope that the seminar helped them understand the processes involved in these projects and the key importance of the work of engineers in the development of these infrastructures, which have a high impact on decarbonization, CO2 emissions reduction, and the economic and industrial development of the societies where they are implemented.
On behalf of Instra Ingenieros, the seminar was given by Alberto Izquierdo Belmonte, Lucio Amando Penedo Pereira, and Pedro Pérez Gabriel, all of whom are former students of the University of Vigo and have extensive experience in wind energy projects.
We would like to thank the students for their attendance and María Araujo Fernández, professor at the School of Mining and Energy at the University of Vigo, for her initiative and invitation, understanding that these activities enrich the students' education and guide them towards opportunities in the job market.
