Conservas Cerqueira yesterday inaugurated its new industrial facilities located in the Té industrial estate, in the town of Rianxo, A Coruña.
The plant, located on a 36,000 m2 plot of land, has required an investment of around 28 million euros and has incorporated automated production lines, energy and process control technology and water reuse technology. According to Conservas Cerqueira, this is its largest, most technologically advanced and most sustainable factory.
The inauguration was led by the company's president, Juan Manuel Cerqueira Ozores, and his deputy, Manuel Aldao, who has led the development of the project. They were accompanied by numerous local, regional and central government authorities.
From Instra, as the architecture and engineering firm that developed the project and the site management, we would like to highlight the commitment of this Galician company, with more than 130 years of history, to innovation and the intensive use of technology with the aim of achieving the highest standards of quality, efficiency, sustainability and workers' welfare.
Proud to be part of this project and to contribute to the industrial and technological development of our environment, we would like to congratulate Conservas Cerqueira for its commitment to the socio-economic development of Galicia in a sustainable way.
