Owned by the family office of "La Vida es Chula", this unique industrial building is currently partially occupied by Alliance Healthcare. Instra Ingenieros participated in the design and construction management phase, integrating the highest standards in the field of sustainability, which has allowed us to obtain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold level certification.
This storage building, located on the outskirts of Barcelona, consists of a ground floor and several mezzanines, the entire space being refrigerated due to the particular needs of the stored product. The industrial part of the building has a surface area of 24,500m2, and its roof, which is a combination of aluminium panels and prefabricated concrete sandwich panels, makes it possible to escape from the traditional industrial aesthetic. Annexed to this volume is a glass prism made up of four levels, which houses office space with a total surface area of 5,300 m2. The façade of this space has a series of cantilevers and a deployé mesh that act as a bioclimatic control element, protecting users from direct sunlight while giving it an avant-garde appearance.
